First of all, a MASSIVE thankyou from the Whitfield/Miller family, for allowing us to give a forever home to Spring & Raggey.
Just to let you know, they are settling in fantastic! Both love to be cuddled, and spring likes to be carried from the kitchen to the lounge? (for some strange reason!! :) it must be the princess in her!!) Raggey 'spins' when its walkies time, he gets himself really excited, its so funny. Both are ok on the leads, they dont pull as such, i think its more of a contest to see who's 'lead dog'! We'e found that Raggey seems to be a grumpy pants when he's tired out, nothing major, he just has a bit of a grumble! (typical man!!) We've had no 'accidents', both stand by the back door when they need some 'garden time', they're keeping us right!
Again Iryna, Thankyou so much, and a big lick from Raggy & Spring!! :) x

Since we adopted William from you several years ago, you may remember we then went on to adopt 2 more very elderly hairless little boys. Sadly, we have now lost all three due to illness. We still have George, the born blind and deaf bearded collie, who you may remember.

We have waited 9 years to get a crested as our old greyhound would not except small non sighthounds unfortunatly he past away a couple of weeks ago at the good old age of 14. But it does now mean we have a spare place in our home of a crested. we just have to wait for the right one to come along that will be happy here. I have done an album with pics of my gang hope i have done it right

Nice to meet you yesterday and you have our admiration for your work with the Cresties! :) Pepper has had a good first night in the kitchen, though he was scared to begin with and had a little accident. He and Lily are still obviously sorting things out between them but we will keep you updated. He is off to hopefully have stitches out this afternoon at 1715. :)

Thank you for the idea about scenting the chairs. I am sure we are over compensating a little at the moment as we are so upset but I am sure we will get back to normal once we get used to the news. The ideas to help her are all very useful and enable us to feel that we are doing something positive.

Would you be able to let me know if a crestie comes into you care that you think would be suitable as a companion for Lily or should I just keep checking your website?

We are devastated at the news - is there any advice you can give on caring for a dog that is going blind. I have ordered the book Living with a Blind dog but would be grateful for any advice you can give. The specialist recommended getting another dog as a seeing companion for her.

Can you tell me if cresties are prone to eye problems - she regularly walks into things, particularly at night. These are not just small things - she has walked into the wheelie bin several times, bags of compost etc etc. She can see as she chases a ball but I am worried that there might be a problem.
