My First Swim

My first swim Was not intended at all I went in after Swans which was very naughty of me I know but the minute my Mum called me back I came. Mum was filming and caught me in action so you can all get to see me in action and I think I am a rather good swimmer...Not sure I want to do it agin though.

Kiki's Training Class

Hello,

Kiki had her second class last night she did very well but is still so worried by people and even dogs she does not know but despite that she is doing so well, she walks to heal perfectly and her recall is spot on she won't take a treat from anyone other than me at classes though. Stil it's very early days for her just yet. Whe she is at home you would think she had been with us all her life she is so happy and relaxed.

Hi Lee
So sorry to hear about your little Angel, it must have been awful.

I think you might be right with the activity type games as he just comes alive running around. We have a retriever who ...retrieves, and Floyd just loves running up and down with us for no apparent reason whatsoever! Not interested in balls or any item at all, so a little agility would be a fantastic idea to try him at. If we're going to run, we may as well tackle a few obstacles at the same time! On the diversion front, he has picked up the 'watch' command quite well, and treats do seem to do it for him. Every day is a new day and hes doing really well. I may start a blog to share our early days experiences, but again thanks for the reply. Cx

Hi Lee

Thanks for the reply. It was more toys we can play with together, I suppose like tug toys or ball play... Im not sure though as a/ is tug a suitable game (?!) and secondly he shows no interest in balls! I just wanted to add something more than the 'whose a fantastic little boy then' in that squeely, really pleased, voice ...... :) Does kiki like soft squeeky toys? or fluffly mouselike things? or chasey games ? Floyd just seems content with 'stroke my tummy' but Im sure if he 'learnt' how to play, hed build more confidence. Time is also on our side, as indeed he has only been with us for almost 2 whole weeks.......!

Nice to be here also, and love all your pics .... arent they just adorable little beauties !

Hi there

I have 2 cresties, a powderpuff boy and a completely hairless boy, well he has an eyebrow and whiskers, he is stocky and tough a bit like his personality whilst the puff is dainty and pretty, very much the underdog!
The hairless is also travel sick, can now go about 10 miles but any further..... Someone told me to soak a piece of brad in pettermint tea, 30 mins before a journey, it didn't work for mine but it may be worth a go! Ginger biscuits?

Hi Lee & Kiki i love your baby.I dont own one yet i really wanted to join to find out about the breed and what their really like.I have a wonderful black Lab and four cats at the moment and im thinking of taking on another baby.Im so taken with the look of the Cresties and what i read about them. They really are amazing. One of my cats is a Sphynx and the feel of him is so special. My husbands grandparents lived in woodmancot and his uncle in Mitchledever station so he has spent a lot of time in Hampshire your lucky to live in such a lovely part of the country.LUV T X.
